Dr. Vincent Lang (1916 - 1990)

Patrick Vincent Lang was from Collooney, Co. Sligo and qualified in 1940 from the National University of Ireland. He practiced in Moville about 1942/43 but moved away to the UK where he was a GP in Scunthorpe and GP Anaesthetist in Loughborough. He became a Consultant Anaesthetist in Leicester Royal Infirmary and later in Omagh and finally Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry.

He had a keen interest in golf and rugby. He was past Captain of Rushcliffe GC in Nottinghamshire and a member of Greencastle Golf Club. He is buried in Ballybrack Moville.
