GP Winter Initiative 2025/2026

Moville Group Practice is participating in the 2025/2026 GP Winter Initiative which provides for an additional one-hour clinic, twice a week, to support patients with respiratory/acute symptoms over the Winter peak period.

These clinics will commence in the week beginning Monday, 10th December 2025, for ten weeks and will operate between 17:00-18:00 on two separate days each week dependent on patient need. As such the days that the clinic will operate may vary from week to week.

Autumn 2025 Flu & Covid Booster Clinics

Moville Surgery will operate a ‘Walk-In’ Flu and Covid Booster Clinic at GLENCROW HALL (opposite surgery) on the following dates:

• Thursday 25th September 2025 09:00 – 13:00
• Thursday 9th October 2025 10:00 – 15:00

Ensure you are wearing a short sleeved / loose top so that is easy to expose the arm and shoulder.

DO NOT attend if you have a high temperature, new onset continuous cough or you generally feel unwell.

The Flu vaccine is free for all patients over 65 or in the ‘at risk’ groups for patients aged between 13 – 64 years, regardless of whether you hold a medical card or not.

There is an administration fee of €20 for private patients that are not in the ‘at risk’ groups.
